Tips for a Successful Work Term

 Attend a "Preparing for Your Work Term" session before your first work term.

• Communicate regularly with your supervisor to make sure you have a clear idea of his or her expectations.
• If you find your work does not provide enough challenge, offer to tackle a special project or other assignment.
• Keep your supervisor aware of how your work is progressing so that he or she can prepare your next assignment.
• Please let your co-ordinator know of any concerns; they may be able to offer some suggestions for improving your situation.
