Work Term Reports for Arts & Science Co-op Students

The work term report allows you to report on your experience and how the experience relates to your learning objectives. It is also meant to facilitate your understanding of the employer’s organization and work environment, enhance your integration or practical experience and theoretical concepts, aid in the development of your communication skills, and give your employer an opportunity to recognize your research, analytical and communication skills.

Your work term report consists of four distinct sections:

1. Initial analysis & learning objectives

2. Career research

3. Recommendations

4. Final reflection

Deadlines:

  • Send your initial analysis and learning objectives to your co-op co-ordinator by e-mail by the end of your first month on the job.
  • Submit your final work term report by the third Friday in August. (In spring 2011, the deadline is August 19.)
  • This year, for the first time, students will submit work reports through Navigator.
  • Please submit only your own, original work; we will use anti-plagiarism software.
