Computing and Business Co-op

Students enrolled in their second year of the double degree program in Business Administration with Computer Science or Business Administration with Computing and Computer Electronics may choose to accept automatic admission to co-op.

Participants in these programs begin an alternating sequence of four-month work and study terms at the end of second year. Students accumulate practical experience through three or four work terms.

Beginning in September 2010, we will offer a new double degree program in Business Administration and Computer Science. All students in the program will participate in co-op. They will take business courses at Laurier and computer science courses at the University of Waterloo.

Employer Testimonial

"The student we hired brought a mix of business and computer skills that were just what we needed. She facilitated the deployment of our strategy map workforce alignment tool and prepared portions of our monthly performance report. I highly recommend this program to other employers."
