Students enrolled in the Co-op Option may explore work terms with international employers. The Department of Co-operative Education guides students through the process of seeking a job and obtaining work permits and visas. Students have recently secured co-op work terms in Australia, China, England, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United States.

"My work term at Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen, Scotland proved to be very rewarding. Seeking ways to improve customer customer service challenged me to think creatively. Establishing a database increased my technical skills, and I used communication skills while training staff to use the system. I feel privileged to have had a positive effect on the hospital."
