A team of four co-op students from the School of Business & Economics won first place at the recent Investment Research Challenge. Hosted by the Toronto CFA Society, the event was designed to teach students the best practices in equity research. 

Jacob Bell, a graduate of the double degree co-op program in business (Laurier) and math (Waterloo) has captured the Ontario gold medal for achieving the highest mark in the province on the 2009 Uniform Evaluation (UFE) from the Chartered Accountants
