Career Planning
In this session you will learn the key steps in the career planning process and have an opportunity to begin working on Step 1 - Self Awareness. The goal of this session is to provide you with the information, insight and resources you need to begin identifying your best career matches. During this session you will learn about and be able to select different career assessments (’tests’ such as TypeFocus). Upon completion of this session you will be eligible to meet with a consultant to review your assessment results. You will learn the key steps in the career planning process with a focus on Steps 2 and 3 - Career Awareness and Career Immersion. The goal of this session is to provide you with the tools, resources and information you need to increase your awareness of your career options and show you the steps you can take to determine your best career matches.

Résumé Writing
Employers want to see a targeted job application which demonstrates that a candidate is a good match for the position. Learn how to present your most relevant qualifications effectively and how to best connect your skills and abilities to a job. We’ll offer tips on the use of appropriate formatting and layout and how to select and present relevant content to an employer, whether you’re looking for a part-time or summer job while you study or a professional opportunity upon graduation.
