The Career Centre is here to help you find a job and prepare effective applications - whether you are looking for a full-time job after graduation, an international experience or a career change. In this section you will find:

  • Job Postings - for full-time, summer, part-time and on-campus employment opportunities. These employers are looking to hire Laurier students and alumni.
  • How Do I Look For A Job? - learn how to tap into the hidden job market to find opportunities that often are not posted on websites or in the newspaper
  • Resumé Preparation - learn how to prepare a resumé and cover letter that will help you stand out among other applicants
  • Interview Preparation - learn how the Career Centre can help you prepare for interviews
  • Academic Job Search and Applications - we can help you prepare your CV and navigate the academic job search process
  • Career Fair/Job Fair - we host over 200 employers at Career Fair in September and at Job Fair in February. This is a great opportunity to network, find opportunities and learn about prospective employers.
  • Volunteering - seeking out volunteer opportunities is an excellent way to gain transferable skills and test out potential career options.
  • Labour Market Information - find out about the job market for your career field and learn valuable information from the Sector Councils.
